Ronald C. T. Lim (Ar.)
Principal Architect
Ronald Lim has worked internationally - in New York, Tokyo and Mexico City - for distinguished architects like Cesar Pelli (AIA Gold Medal) and Fumihiko Maki (Pritzker laureate). In Singapore, he practised with Forum Architects, acquiring expertise on award-winning institutional projects like the Yale-NUS College campus (Chicago Athenaeum International Award 2015). Ronald has led multi-disciplinary teams and understands implementation. He also collaborates with Lekker Architects on groundbreaking research into ageing and socially-inclusive design, partnering such organisations as the Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities (LKYCIC), the Geriatric Education & Research Institute in Singapore (GERI) and the Lien Foundation, Singapore.
Ronald contributes to discourse through his work as Practice Editor of The Singapore Architect magazine - the Singapore Institute of Architects’ (SIA) official publication - and serves on SIA’s Publications Committee. He is also active with the Royal Institute of British Architects' (RIBA) Singapore Chapter, curating its lecture series and cultural outreach programmes. As a design educator, he has taught at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and has been an invited speaker at the ETH Future Cities Laboratory, Singapore.
Ronald speaks 5 languages fluently and maintains a deep awareness of global cultures and histories. He holds a Master of Architecture from Yale University and Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University.
